London Symphony Orchestra0
Filming the LSO recording Bartók and Shostakovich at Abbey Road Studios.
In brief
We were briefed to film the recording of two masterpieces of the classical repertoire, at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Maestro Enrico Marconi conducted the London Symphony Orchestra performing Shostakovich’s First Violin Concerto, with violinist Mayuko Katsumura, and Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra. The performance took place over three days in the state-of-the-art studio one and was produced by Tony Faulkner. We used 2x Sony EX1, 1x Canon 5D, 1x Canon 7D and produced 4x fully edited movements and 2x featurettes, including behind the scenes and interviews with the protagonists of this first class production.
Produced, directed, edited and graded by Tito Sacchi and George Chinn. Produced by Quadruple Jump Media.
